"We had pea shingle causing a blockage in the U bend in our inspection chamber. Drainsmart did a video inspection of our drains which revealed a collapsed joint under our kitchen extension. Jake and Barry arrived a couple of weeks later - they did another video review with me watching over and we decided that rather than a patch repair a full internal sleeve would cover a couple of other minor issues and long term would give greater peace of mind. After a quick phone call the quote was revised and Jake asked if I would like a few days to consider it, which I declined. Jake was easy to talk to, informative and very thorough. The sleeve was fitted then Barry copied the 'before and after' video drain scans onto a memory stick for me. Job done with no fuss and no digging!

The survey identified issues with the drains that needed rectifying and after completing our house purchase we instructed DrainSmart to complete the work. This included milling using Picote machinery to cut through cement intrusion and tree root penetration, high pressure water jetting and adding soft felt lining to ensure everything was water tight. Tony and team saved us money by simplifying the connections to Thames Water (and thus minimizing fees payable). They took care of some extra above-ground pipework that needed sorting but would not normally be in scope. The clean-up was very neat and tidy. The guys that came to our house were all incredibly polite, respectful and friendly. We really appreciated their thoughtfulness on a number of occasions while they were there. Broken sewer pipe and bad smell in the house. I had these guys round for a quote. Unlike other companies they didn’t try to charge to to have a look at my drain problem. The 3 engineers came in the morning to fix the issue, excavated the concrete, repaired several botched jobs by previous builders and they were all done by lunchtime. Bare in mind I had been quoted for up to 4 days work from other companies, I couldn’t recommend drainsmart enough. Thank you. Very fair pricing and extremely professional and fair.

"The drains have been blocked and men from this firm have fixed the problem very efficiently. The first week was assessed by Tyler and Jay and the following week Ed and Jay fixed the drains. They moved and replaced garden equipment as it should be. "Having never had a domestic drainage issue before, I had no idea where to even begin. I started by - unfortunately - going with a different company, who after three visits (and hundreds of pounds) still couldn’t tell me what was actually wrong. They said my only option was to excavate down through the concrete under the house. I rang Tony at drainsmart for a second opinion and within 10 minutes of arriving to the property his team had a pretty good idea of what was wrong. It became clear to me that they actually checked things properly and thoroughly (unlike the other company who didn’t even look in the front drain gulley - sigh). The drainsmart team did a cctv survey for me, identified the issue, came back the next week and did the work without any need to dig up kitchen floor. We couldn't fault them. What they quoted was exactly what they charged and they even threw in a new manhole cover, which was not part of the job, for free. They stuck to their schedule, the work was thoroughly professional and finished to a very high standard. Two men were with us for three days and were unfailingly polite and cheerful and left the place spotless. We were dreading having this work done, as it involved digging out some of our cellar and was a messy job, but we hardly noticed they were there!
